What we offer

We advise refugees and asylum seekers regardless of status or long-term perspective to stay. That means: Orientation on the labour market, help with the creation of necessary documents, help with the search for internships or jobs. Moreover, we bring people into language courses or other useful support measures and run our own workshops.

For female refugees, we offer consultation only by women for women. Once a week a breakfast for women (Frauenfrühstück) takes place. It is a place where female refugees can meet up and exchange their experiences in a protected environment- of course they can bring their children!

The different participants in the area e.g. the job centre, the refugee advice centre as well as the employment agency are well connected- and we are a part of that network. A special cooperation exists with the support programme “Integration durch Qualifizierung” (IQ) in the area of contact with domestic companies and the recognition of foreign professional qualification.

About us

For 30 years Arbeit und Bildung e.V. advocates for people to give them a perspective for a vocational future. Additionally, the association is active in the work with refugees for many years.
